TIRED PIGGY TOES!

My piggy toes are so tired.

And they hurt!

They really want a massage!

And so do these old, arthritic hands.

The ones with thalo blue paint still on them even after I washed up.

But they are really happy piggy toes.

And really happy old fingers.

Know why?

Remember a couple of months ago when I met Marilyn in Michael's?  Well, FINALLY, we managed to get together to paint.  And we sure did!  From about 10:30 this morning until about 4:30 this afternoon.

That's why  I'm tired.

And that's why I'm happy!

I have never before got to spend time painting with another artist.  It was heavenly!  Wonderful!  Glorious!

And almost too much fun to be legal!

We both learned from each other.  But I got the best end of the deal because she gave me this.

I have never had that particular yellow before but I will never do without it again!  Because it helped me make the most amazing greens...just perfect for my desert landscapes.

Like this one...which I painted today...with my painting buddy, Marilyn!

Marilyn got a good start on her desert landscape.  She is from Louisiana so this whole desert thing is pretty new for her.  She had fun, too.  She had her shoes kicked off by the middle of the day.  I wonder if her piggy toes hurt too?

We're gonna do it again next Monday!

Right now, I'm heading back to my recliner from which I raised my tired old body to come to my computer and write this here blog.

Aren't you glad I did?  LOL

I am grateful for Marilyn, my painting buddy!
