HOW THIS.....

I had been doing a lot of paintings with specific visions in mind from the beginning. 

That's a good thing to do, but sometimes I just need to let the colors and the brushes 'lead' me to a vision. 

So, after days of using the same colors to create similar paintings, I got out a blank canvas and squirted paint directly onto the surface.

Then, I chose another color and dibbed it and dabbed it here and there.....

I smeared and  smudged and schmooshed!

I squirted water on the whole thing and let runs happen.

I turned it this way and that way until.....

....I saw the ghost of that palm tree.....and

That was That!
