I am grateful that I have a job that pays well(will not cuss the lack of bonus's and retirement this year)
I am grateful that I always have plenty to eat.(will not cuss the fact that I have to get a larger size jeans)
I am grateful for my family. (will not cuss the fact that said husband still hasn't got my tree)

I am grateful that we are made repairable...just got word Sister-in-laws mother had lost ability to walk and was difficult to speak words she wanted to...thanks to brain surgery she was quickly up moving with a walker, and talking to her family...she is one of several who has healed beautifully

I am grateful for Elijah Nist's family. I know Elijah and his family intimately but not personally.

I first heard of Elijah from the boys who come to play with my grandson Tristan...they were his classmates.

The boys were told he was in a coma (medically induced) because of the flu.

I next heard of Elijah when shopping in Binghamton - my daughter needed to find an angel for a floral arrangement that had been commissioned to send to his family...Elijah had died and person was sending arrangement special afterward...

Grandchildren and I were able to help pick out THE angel...even on sale she was far more than the arrangement budget allowed...no matter, we simply annonamously donated the angel.

Even though not a real angel, she was the epitome of kind...with porcelain head and fabric dress and lush real feather wings...a large @foot high Christmas tree topper.

Thought crossed through my mind that being a Christmas Tree Topper might make her not right for the job...turns out it is what made her EXACTLY Right for the job...story traveled back to me...Eljiah last year had been telling his family they needed an angel for the top of their tree.

Heard later, that Tree Topper Angel angel had especially impacted his family.

The story led me to search for the name of the little boy...I had known him only as classmate of the boys and child of a parent...my search eventually led me to the blog his family had on Caring Bridge.org

I am grateful I got to experience their journey through the eyes of this family.

I am grateful my grandson recently chose peace over drama, am hoping he choses it more and more.
When I choose peace I can impact myself and others, when they choose peace it helpfully impacts me.

I am grateful to Chris who had two sessions of shaping up grandson...sometimes he just has to hear it from another guy - Chris was instrumental in grandson choosing peace over drama.

I am grateful the Christmas lights went up fairly easy - translation body and brain worked well enough that the many adjustments seemed almost easy.

I am grateful that there has been fruit from my labor...doing things have led closer and closer to order.

Grateful I can tell myself that it is time to quit typing and get something more accomplished here...

see you later
